As a child I wouldn't enter a room unless my parents announced "Introducing...(pause) Heather Lyon!" I performed countless self-choreographed dance recitals in my den where I would lip-sync to the entire "Best of the Beatles" double album ('67-'70) with my poor brother as a reluctant back up dancer. With little hope of becoming a performer, (outside of the circus), I attended college in Buffalo, NY, where I earned a degree and became a high school teacher. But dreams never die so I married a man with money, quit my job and began working for free at a small lite rock station in upstate New York. I was offered the job on the Karlson and McKenzie morning show after only 4 months because I was the only woman who wasn't offended by them. Luckily for me they asked me to come to Boston and because I care very little about what my husband thinks, I sold our house and we moved to Braintree; where I've slowly started to give away his Sabre T-shirts and replace them with Bruins gear.
